Pharmaceutical Extrusion leader David White, Ph.D., will keynote the Spotlight™ conference in York, Pennsylvania, this September.

After a two-year hiatus due to pandemic-related travel restrictions and difficulties, Graham Engineering Company VP of Sales and Service, Michael Duff, announces the Spotlight™ Medical Extrusion & Secondary Operations Conference to be held on September 27th and 28th, 2022, in York, Pennsylvania.

“With the uncertainty we have faced over the past two years. We felt it was the right decision to put our annual Spotlight™ conference on hold. As the world begins to move forward, we feel it appropriate to bring the focus back, or, bring a spotlight to, the medical extrusion industry,” explains Duff, the conference organizer. Our Spotlight conferences focus on the medical tube extrusion process and secondary operations such as surface treatment, drilling, laser processing, over-molding, and braiding for catheters and delivery systems.

“I am very excited that we were able to secure Dr. David White, a pharmaceutical extrusion industry leader, as the keynote presenter. With ten years of experience, Dr. White is the Founder and President of Extrupharm LLC and has led product development for drug-eluting implants for prolonged drug release, abuse-deterrent applications, and local drug delivery for pain, inflammation, epilepsy, Parkinson’s, and HIV,” stated Duff.

Spotlight™ is a technical conference designed to help its participants learn, connect, and grow. You will mingle with technical leaders and your industry peers and walk away with knowledge, connections, and memories. Graham Engineering Company intends to organize Spotlight™ Conferences annually in varying locations to address significant developments and new technologies in medical extrusion and secondary operations.
